The Finassets team continues to strengthen platform security. With the latest update, all actions related to IP Filtration settings now require Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).

 

What's changed

 

  • enabling and disabling IP Filtration requires 2FA confirmation
  • adding or removing an IP address from the list requires 2FA confirmation
  • email notifications are sent for any changes made to IP settings

 

Managing which IP addresses can access your account is a critical security setting. Requiring 2FA for these actions ensures that only authorized users can make changes — reducing the risk of unauthorized access and helping prevent account lockouts. Email alerts add an extra layer of visibility so you stay informed of any activity.
